THE TRAIN VISION

Transport A safe and efficient regional freight transport and water infrastructure network that unlocks the productive potential of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales, revitalises regional communities and creates new jobs, and increases regional Australia´s role in rebuilding the nation´s economy.

REBUILDING THE REGIONS

Transport

TRAIN supports the ongoing regional recovery of the Global Financial Crisis in Australia. Investing in job creating infrastructure develops opportunities for growth in the current challenging economic climate. Industry will flourish where infrastructure is upgraded or rebuilt in key TRAIN communities and surrounding areas throughout regional Australia. Business and industry expansion will ultimately create jobs and secure existing ones in areas where infrastructure is maximised and easily accessible. Communities will also benefit from increased tourism and recreation facilities, encouraging more money to be spent in these areas.
